Louie going on 10 years and now retired on the sofa! RIP 2019 Louie is the big macho male of this place. He is now retired and just enjoys life on the sofa, bed and in the sun. The most social and friendly big fella you will ever meet. Temperament of this boy is simply superb. He was a nice racers in his younger years too. At a whopping 38kg and as head strong as two donkeys on a bridge, this boy has done it all. From climbing mountain the northern lapland, to swimming and agility. He is stubborn beyond belief and his perseverance often pays off. Big Boy Louie - one of a kind!
Mega co-owned, a full time pet! RIP 2019 male Mega was reared in Ireland and we had great big hopes for him. He was an expensive purchase and we wished to see him race. Unfortunately he ended up in the wrong hands where impatience and inexperience along with hasty attitude led to his injury, which after his return we nursed for over 8 months with great success! Luckily he too hit the jackpot and moved to his forever home. He is a spoiled pet in a family with two young children and another pitbull x rotweiler mix female. He has recovered fully, but his new owners love him to dearly to let him be risked at any sports, so he remains a full time pet. Mega loves walks and playing with children. He is just one big silly puppy who brings enormous joy to his new family. We visit them for the Holidays and get a slobber kisses all the time. For many more years my black boy!
Shireen going to shows in Russia! Has one litter of pups for Artefakt Kennel female Shireen was our co-owned show puppy who we reared. She now lives in Russia with one of the main show breeders and has been successful in the show ring under the Artefakt Kennel with breeder Rumiya. She has a lovely temperament and loves food. Likes to run along with the racers and boss them around. We wish her new family a great future together. Her brother Henry's mom in Ireland is our dear friend whom we visit several times per year for the coursing season. We think Henry is one of the most gorgeous show males around and as good as they come. He is a big clown and highly intelligent like his sister. Shireen as a youngster was called Shireen the Queen!
Greyfort Vv - SOLD in AU female born 03/2014 VV was a present from an AU friend. Her mom is no other than a sister to Knocka Norris who was exported at stud. Her half siblings have started running in Australia and are promising with some 45000AUD in wins from only a few runs. VV will be schooling in Australia.
Audrey is no Hepburn at the moment as she is having a bit of an ugly duckling stage, but she sure has it all character wise. We think her white swan will come out later in life. Long in body this fawn daddy looking girl, wants to hunt everything in her sight. She has independence we appreciate in a hound and she likes to do her own thing as they say. She was from a lovely litter of 10 full of gorgeous girls and boys, but she stole our heart the minute we saw her. So here she is growing like a mushroom by the minute. She has plenty of early pace but did not stay the 525 so FCI racing was more suitable for her over 280m.
Greyfort Leilani-Retired and Rehomed to UK Raced in Finland and Ireland. Leilani is from one of the first litters of the brilliant tracker Ballymac Eske, a compact fawn with striking features and a seriously fiery personality. Her dam was an early paced Open class brindle with one previous litter. Good tempered and social, we found her to be a good female when we visited. She was in one final in Thurles before she was retired via Alison Coxon to the UK where she lives as a pet.
Ruby co-owned going on 10 years and now retired on the sofa! Ruby is the most kindest dog I have ever had. She is a lap dog that just loves attention and will do anything to please. Stay just the way you are sweet-pumpkin pie! p.s. Yes she is DUN greyhound. 1 in 3000 litters born turn to be a Unicorn, yes... she is a princess! Want to see more DUN greyhounds, here you go... Foxy RIP and over the rainbow bridge! female Foxy was the love of my life! As simple as that. She was also a fantastic racing female who still holds the tack record over sprinting distance here in Finland and who was as smart as they come. Beautifully build, durable and small in frame, yet a flying tornado with a spicy personality to top it off. Foxy was awarded The Sprinting Bitch of the Year 2013, still holds the Track Record over 280m in Tampere Greyhound Track and nearly broke a second sprinting distance in Turku. She was the Bomb! If I ever breed a dog as balanced in conformation, looks and character as her, I will be the luckiest person alive. To me Foxy was as close to perfection as I have seen so far. She was fully health tested and very healthy, but passed due to a heart failure in the winter of 2014!
Carrie RIP and over the rainbow bridge! Carrie was the big clumsy brood! She was a fantastic female with lots of drive, willingness to run as her heart desires and an absolute solid chase drive. She was big in every way, heart, personality, build and temperament. She also happen to be gorgeous if I may say so. Her best skills were in entertaining. The natural actor and clown. She loved football and could play it all day. As a matter of fact you did not have to do much work to train her as she trained herself. She did not have time to show her true potential, although had a few lovely fast races and trails, before she contracted a rare CHP (CANINE HAEMORRHAGIC PNEUMONIA) pneumonia ( a virus based respiratory condition ) which took her away from us in late 2014. The decease is not hereditary, but acts very quick and in about 6-10h and has almost no noticeable symptoms other than lethargy. We will miss her dearly and hope her 3/4 sister Leveret could follow in her steps. Carrie was a fantastic female and a hopeful performer! Her siblings are still running in the UK and her half brother is no other then Ballymac Vic!
